Belief-o-matic
Dec. 3rd, 2005 12:04 pmDue to a friend redirecting my thought to the recent article on "metrospirituality" I ended up poking around Beliefnet and took their "Belief-o-matic" quiz (http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html).
I have to say I think it did a decent job pegging me. If I were going to join a church, it would probably be the Unitarians. They've always attracted me. And Quakers are my next favorite Christian type religion.
"
The top score on the list below represents the faith that Belief-O-Matic, in its less than infinite wisdom, thinks most closely matches your beliefs. However, even a score of 100% does not mean that your views are all shared by this faith, or vice versa.
Belief-O-Matic then lists another 26 faiths in order of how much they have in common with your professed beliefs. The higher a faith appears on this list, the more closely it aligns with your thinking.
How did the Belief-O-Matic do? Discuss your results on our message boards.
1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (97%)
3. Liberal Quakers (96%)
4. Secular Humanism (89%)
5. Neo-Pagan (77%)
6. New Age (68%)
