Ugly Novel Update

Every now and then I like to put the Ugly Novel into Courier New and double-spaced to see roughly how many manuscript type pages it's gotten to.  As of today, that would be 245.
Or, in other words, still only about a little more than half way.  *sigh*
I'm scared to write the slave revolt.  I just know it's going to come out horribly.  But I need to stop being such a big baby and just let it be Written Badly.  Or else it will never get written at all.
Time to go stare jealously at the short stories in Coyote Road and wish I could be so fabulous.  Of course, it's not exactly a shock that I'm not as slick as Patricia McKillip.  She's only one of the best writers of fantasy ever.  *sigh*
