Practicing my dwjomancy again
Jan. 24th, 2008 11:07 amToday I'm Ann/Vierran in Hexwood.
That sounds like a lovely thing to be today.
Now time to work out and plan a storytime. I'm going to do "houses". I had a hard time finding a copy of "The Three Little Pigs" that actually featured a) three pigs, b) a wolf, c) houses, d) pigs getting eaten.
I'm a big fan of revisionist fairy tales, but I feel that at some point the three year olds should hear the originals too. And if anyone is going to give me flack about the pigs getting EATEN, it better be a vegetarian. That's all I've got to say on that. (Though, y'know, if it were real Wild Boars and a real Wolf, Mr. Wolf would have his work cut out for him to beat two boars in a day. Tusky suckers, boars.)
And I'll do "This is the House that Jack Built". I haven't decided on a third houses tale yet. I'd like something, ideally, with lots of shapes and kinds of houses. But storytime is tonight so it may just be "whatever I can come up with that feels good." That's ok too.
