Writing process
Aug. 27th, 2008 11:36 amThis weekend I accomplished a significant writing milestone for the first time. After three months of actually internalizing the whole "writing is what happens when you sit down and write" concept, much prodded on by the wonderful panels at the Fourth Street Convention, I finished a coherent draft of a full length novel.
That was pretty cool for about 13 hours, 6 of which I slept through.
Ever since then I've felt sort of twitchy and stupid. I'm trying to make my brain start playing with the other novel idea that's been patiently waiting its turn since I started the last novel, but my brain doesn't want to focus.
It wants to play on the stupid internet. Bad brain.
