Small whine, medium toast

1) Small whine - grownup things are often hard.  Keeping track of money and cleaning things and dealing with people on days when you'd rather you didn't.  Feh.

2) Medium toast - on the other hand, don't so many people step up to make my day better in ways large and small, without knowing it or expecting anything?  There are so many people who just are so phenomenally decent in the world and it is a pleasure to know them.
