Graphic Novel Goodness
Jun. 8th, 2006 01:16 pmI'm wallowing in the goodness of the St. Paul Central Library graphic novel collection. I went to the library on Tuesday, loaded myself down, then went back on Wednesday and swapped for fresh ones. I got Kare Kano v.1 , Cromartie High v.1, and Runaways v.2 (I'd already read v.1) on Tues, then went back yesterday and got Boys over Flowers v.1, Runaways v.3, The Complete Age of Apocalypse v.1, and then non comic book stuff. The new biography of Beau Brummell, a whole pile of computer application books (ooooh, training manuals for Dreamweaver! yay!), Melvin Burgess's Doing It, Kage Baker's short story collection from Gryphon Press about the Company (I think the title is Black Projects, White Knights), and a few other things. Also the DVD of Murder by Death and the VHS of the first volume of the Singing Detective. Yay! New libraries are like Christmas morning for me.
