Anniversary plans
Sep. 12th, 2008 11:38 amMy fourth anniversary is coming up. We are big dorks. Our plan: rent a caboose in the woods, and drive to a local Apple Fest.
Caboose.
Apple Fest.
Ok, our original plan was rent a cabin on an organic farm and drive to apple fest, but the cabin was rented :(
That is what happens when your "original plan" involves poking around websites two weeks before your intended travel dates.
J and I both really like flea markets. And rummage sales. And pie. So we think this will be a pretty fun vacation.
And as J said "we might actually see some stars!" The worst part about living in the city is that stars disappear from your life. You don't notice this until you go somewhere where there are stars again. When I went home to VT for a weekend last fall, the biggest thing that hit me (other than Mt. Equinox, which is always purty) was how starry the sky was at night.
Anyway, those are our dorksome plans.
