Writing wankage

Thanks to my friend B., who lent me his nice warm kitchen, complete with table, and let me pretend it was a coffee shop, I completed a draft of a short on Saturday.
He says it lacks any kind of conflict or narrative arc, though.
Me, I've decided that my mantra will be "conflict is for 2nd drafts!"
