Quick poll of you guys

vcmwSomeone has emailed me at my current email account, with an email I absolutely don't recognize, asking if "either of these email accounts" (listing my current and most recent) are for me (full name with both middle initials). And a subject line "attempting to find someone".
They have not included any details about who the blank they are, a name, a sig file, etc. And the user name is not anything I recognize, and doesn't come up in a Google search.
The domain is another.com, if that's relevant.
Is this something I should answer, or ignore like the creepy scamming spammer plague it feels like?
It's that second initial that makes me go "hmm, this might possibly be someone I know." Not all that many people know my second middle initial - it's not on most of the public documents out there.
