PLA update

Dear all,
Am at PLA, having a lovely time. Have gotten to speak to the librarian who runs the "No Flying, No Tights" comic book review website (very very nice lady!) and to the people staffing booths from my fave. science-fiction/fantasy publisher Tor and comics.

I got a copy of the pretty hardcover version of Tithe by Holly Black signed. Too too cool!

And there was a giveaway of a nice copy of a Charles de Lint book, which I will totally share with a certain cute blond curly haired gentleman who reads this if he doesn't already have it.

Umm, other than that not a lot. I got to listen to the author of the True Story of the Three Little Pigs read during lunch, and he was excellent.

I'm taking a bit of a break until the four o clock session, when I think I'm going to listen a serving patrons with disabilities session. It's that or one on teen movies, and I feel like I need to learn more about diversity in the library.
