Generally, of course, I am anti-censorship.  But blogs are the private sphere.  Any anonymous comments will be summarily deleted.  This policy didn't seem necessary prior to this moment, so it was never stated, as my general assumption is that about 8 of my friends read this, period.

So.  Caveat poster, anonymous comments shall be deleted.  The anonymous comment made yesterday was a victim of this policy.  Not quite the discussion I was interested in having.
So at work, we have a cart of books to shelve.  And I generally shelve the Spanish language books last, because it's a bit slower per book for me to shelve in Spanish (don't parse the letter order as quickly, so slower alphabetizing).

And since some days the whole cart doesn't get finished by the PM, more often than statistically random this means the Spanish language books didn't get reshelved.

And this effect, writ bigger, is the whole institutionalized racism thing, isn't it?  I mean, a part of it: lots of people with no overt racist agenda putting the things that are harder to do to the bottom of always-over-crowded agendas, and letting them drop off the bottom.  So my small promise to myself: from now on, Spanish language books get shelved first, just to remind me not to get too that way.
